Eating Green: Top 5 CBD Vegan Snacks

Do you ever have those moments – where one second you’re happy with how your healthy diet, and figuring out how to make nachos a breakfast staple? Hopefully you all can relate.

We all have those moments where following a certain eating regimen seems impossible. It’s absolutely normal. In fact, for me, it’s so normal I now just plan on it. If I’m having one of those weeks, days or just hours – I turn to my go-to list of healthy snacks. They’re like my healthy, scrumptious security blanket. There’s a ton of recipes on my list, but right now I’ll give you a quick Top 5 that you can refer to when ‘the hunger’ hits. Let’s kick things off with a sweet little number from MindBodyGreen. This recipe is for an amazing batch of CBD cookie dough truffles. Not only are these a fantastic way to curb the hunger bug, but they also are fantastic for alleviating anxiety. Plus – they’re truffles. Win, win and win.

While we’re still talking about MindBodyGreen, we can’t leave without chatting about this recipe for a CBD chocolate latte. I’ve noticed a like to snack whenever I’m overtired. This delicious latte perks me right up, restores my focus and did I mention it’s delicious? What also makes this a great recipe to remember is that you can tailor it however you want. In the mood for something fun? Add cinnamon and cayenne. Want to relax a little? Add a little lavender. Have fun and make it your own.

This next recipe for CBD chocolate mousse is great for freezing extra for later. It’s from CBD Dishes, and is super easy to make. I love their suggestion about making a double batch, because once you see the ingredients you may want to make it a triple.

I found this scrumptious recipe for chocolate fig bars on the site Clean Eating Kitchen. Get this, it’s grain-free. It’s paleo. It’s vegan. And it’s no-bake. This thing practically makes and eats itself! You have to give it a try. You’re welcome.

Lastly, I can’t include a snack list without talking about my favorite – hummus. Pure Hemp Botanicals has a fantastic recipe for a homemade vegan spicy hummus. This is the perfect post-workout treat, afternoon snack, or just a great reason to eat! I just love the kick it has and since the prep time is only 5 minutes, you’ll be chowing down in no time.
