Farmer’s Markets are a beautiful way to find fresh produce, culinary treats and also some fantastic CBD surprises. The markets are a chance for the community to come together and share their passions, while also building a stronger network amongst friends. I also enjoy seeing some friendly faces and also discovering some great new CBD products.
If you’re in the Oregon area, Portland Farmer’s Market writes that you should make sure to check out Frog Song Farm. They’re a vendor that believes in all the right things: family, sustainability and compassion. Visit their site to the see their collection of premium lotions, salves and oils.
Our next CBD vendor takes us to the Lone Star State. Of course, if I’m talking about CBD, wellness and keeping things weird, I must be talking about Austin! Relish Austin writes about a particular tasty delicacy she found while strolling with her other Austinites: Canna Bees Rescue Blend, a CBD-infused honey. Created by Bee Delightful, a bee rescue organization in Central Texas, this sweet treat comes in two variations; one with 250 milligrams of CBD and another with 500 milligrams.
Our last stop on our farmer’s market journey takes us to San Antonio. CultureMap writes about a farmer’s market vendor with a wonderful CBD story. Matt Dixon, co-owner of the popular Wildflower Caramel Company, credits a customer for giving him his idea to add CBD to a batch of his caramels. Dixon was already personally familiar with the benefits CBD can have, and had been giving it to his pet beagle for epilepsy. A couple of weeks later, Flora & Fortitude, a specialty shop of artisan CBD products, was born.
